Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking an experienced Element Integration Lead- Human Landing System to join a diverse, highly-skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving foreign weapons systems. Dynetics is presently under contract to NASA for design and development of a Human Landing System (HLS) in preparation for NASA’s procurement of commercial services to land crew and cargo on the Moon as part of a sustained lunar presence. Dynetics intends to be a significant contributor to the U.S. national human space exploration enterprise and to stimulating and building a commercial cislunar economy. Current and planned near-term HLS efforts at Dynetics will form the foundation for those future activities. Dynetics Space Systems Division needs the most talented, most passionate managers, engineers, analysts, and technicians to achieve these objectives.
Dynetics Space Systems Division is seeking an Element Integration Lead (EIL) to join our diverse, highly skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving space systems. The EIL is responsible for leading a team to design, analyze, build, and test a major hardware element of the HLS. A single element may contain structures, propulsion, thermal control, avionics, electrical power, and/or software subsystems and will require manufacturing, assembly, and element-level testing.
The EIL reports to program management. The EIL provides regular informal and formal status on technical progress, identifies and communicates issues, and recommends solutions—to the program team, the customer, and Dynetics executive management, as needed. As the lead of a team, the person manages cost, schedule, and technical performance; develops and executes work plans; assigns resources and adjusts staffing within the budget; serves as Control Account Manager; leads day-to-day operations and management of the team; and approves products and deliverables. The EIL works in a team environment to support conceptual design through product implementation and leads the integration of flight hardware from diverse technical disciplines into a flight-certified vehicle that meets performance, schedule, and cost requirements.
Candidate must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
