Position Description

Currently Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Radar Modeling Engineer to support the development of threat radar models and the integration of models into customer facilities.  With offices across the Unites States engaging in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions. 

The candidate will be expected to work with a small team of engineers and computer scientists to develop new threat system radar models, integrate those models into customer facilities, and work to ensure that models work as intended through validation and verification testing. This often requires interaction with threat analysis teams, hardware integration teams, and government customers.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must possess, or be graduating in the next six months, a Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited school in relevant technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Math.
• Current or final GPA must be 3.2 or higher
• Experience performing software development using C++.

Candidate must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Other Qualifications

• Relevant experience is radar modeling and simulation is ideal, but not required
• Experience developing software in a team environment, using configuration management tools such as Git and Jenkins.
• Preferred knowledge / skillsets:
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • MATLAB/Simulink
  • Atlassian Toolchain – JIRA, BitBucket

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
