Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking an RF Design Engineer to join a talented team of engineers and scientists within the National Intelligence Department (NID).  With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective intelligence, engineering, scientific, and IT Solutions.

The NID's mission is to exploit, analyze, and understand foreign threat systems. In support of this mission, the department performs radio frequency (RF) design, hardware builds, algorithm development, and analysis across a variety of both research and development and operational tasks. The candidate will help evaluate, select, integrate, and test commercial off the shelf (COTS) RF devices for forming complex RF transceiver systems. The ideal candidate will have an interest in supporting the full product life cycle from concept through prototype to production.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited school in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science or an equivalent degree with 2 years of applicable experience.
• Understanding of RF cascade analysis

Candidate must be a resident or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Familiarity or experience with any of the following would be a plus:

• Fundamental understanding of DSP concepts (matched filtering, coherent integration, etc.)

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
