You will work closely with a program office that develops US Army aviation, missile and sensor systems. In addition to assisting in development, collection and storage of provisioning data elements for US Army aviation, missile and sensor systems.
The ideal candidate will build and maintain PowerLog provisioning records in generation breakdown. Work edits to prepare for uploading completed Logistics Support Analysis reports (036) into Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) staging area. Candidate will be required to analyze engineering technical data to assist in the development of provisioning parts lists and design change notices IAW MIL-STD-1388-2B/GEIA-STD-0007.
In this role you will review source data from engineers and vendors and proofread and check for compliance with Army Standards and Regulations. Review, estimate, and approve Engineering Change Proposals for impact on US Army aviation systems spares procurement.
Conduct provisioning conferences and prepare required material as requested. Position will be responsible for guiding the development of Provisioning Bill of Materials (PBOM), Provisioning Master Records, Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL), and other Logistics Supply Analysis Reports. Candidate will prepare information and inputs into Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) for the purpose of DLA and AMCOM National Stock Numbers (NSN) assignment requests.
Interfacing with other Department of Defense agencies (Navy, Air Force, Marines, and GSA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS), Demilitarization Office, AMCOM Material Master to assure procurement and availability of major and secondary items is a requirement. Candidate will also interface with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and Army Commands when introducing new items to Army's inventory as required, the candidate assist in determining replacement parts and repair level requirements. Establishes stocking requirements and identifies recommended procurement levels.
Will be responsible for Ammunition (AMMO) Department of Defense Identification Code (DODIC) and Department of Defense Ammunition Code (DODAC) code assignments to identify AMMO items.
High School Graduate plus 10 years provisioning experience
Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years provisioning experience
Must have experience working with databases.
Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
Experienced in MIL-STD-1388-2B/GEIA-STD-0007 provisioning technical documentation review and development.
Experienced in Logistics Support Analysis reports (especially with the -036) and the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
