Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join the team to create unique solutions for complex engineering problems . We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

You will be part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team developing advanced electrical and computer solutions and must be able to design electrical and/or software architecture and integrated systems for real-time, mission-critical systems including flight systems, sensors, ground vehicles, and space hardware.

In addition, you will support task execution for quick turn prototypes by performing electrical system design, avionics design, payload integration, HWIL simulations, debugging systems using electrical lab equipment.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited program with a 3.0 or higher GPA

Candidate must have 2 - 10 years of experience in Electrical or Computer engineering.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Candidate must demonstrate capabilities in one or more of the following:

1. Electrical system design
2. Electrical circuit design & simulation
3. Software and/or hardware interface design & integration
4. Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation and test equipment

Candidate must possess excellent communication skills.

Other Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who possess a 3.5 or higher GPA

Preference shown to candidates who demonstrate:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technical leadership of multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of design engineering for aerospace or military systems
• Experience with custom electronics development and test from board to system-level
• Systems engineering principles and methodologies.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
