Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Electronics Technician / Electronics Soldering Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

This position will involve production, integration, and repair of RF electro-mechanical assemblies. The position will require hands-on work oftentimes involving small and delicate components. Applicants must have strong soldering skills. Consistent exercise of discretion and judgment in work performance is required. Candidates should have experience with cable harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, and use of basic electrical test equipment.

Basic Qualifications

• This position will require at least a high school diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical/electronics assembly or test.
• Candidates must also have experience in troubleshooting of complex devices or systems using standard test equipment.
• Candidate must have achieved J-STD-001 soldering certification within the last 5 years and must have experience soldering under a microscope. (Or 610)

Candidate must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama, area.

Other Qualifications

• Experience working with foreign or domestic RF hardware is a plus.
• Associates degree preferred.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
