Position Description

Leidos Dynetics Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

In this role you will be a part of a team to provide solutions to ensure compliance with the DoD RMF Framework for systems in development while maintaining continued functionality. In addition to installation, configuration, and troubleshooting software in lab and development environments.

The ideal candidate will oversee, evaluate, and support documentation and assessment processes to meet government cybersecurity standards. The candidate will support external test and risk reduction events, implement STIGs for systems and assist system owners in addressing items on a POA&M.

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Identify and validate mission Cybersecurity requirements from Statement of Work and/or engagement with the customer.
  • Selecting and implementing security controls, timely completion of accreditation packages, formulating and implementing mitigations and maintaining the security posture of systems.
  • Provide an accurate technical evaluation of the software application, system, or network, documenting the security posture, capabilities, and vulnerabilities against applicable NIST controls. Recommending new or revised security measures and countermeasures based on risk analysis then verifying that security postures are implemented as stated, document deviations, and recommend required actions to correct those deviations.
  • Support supply chain risk assessments and supply chain maturity assessments

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of experience working with NIST controls and Risk Management Framework. Additional related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with DoD STIG requirements
  • Expertise with running Cybersecurity assessment tools (ACAS, Nessus, SCC, STIG Viewer)
  • Experience in applying DoD RMF to non-traditional IT systems (i.e. OT)

· 8570 IAT or IAM Level II Certification or higher (i.e. Security+ CE)

· Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

  • CISSP preferred.
  • Experience supporting Program Protection Plans.
  • Anti-Tamper experience.
  • Experience supporting supply chain risk assessments and supply chain maturity assessments.

· Candidate must be a self-starter, be detail-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication skills and work well with others.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
