Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Weapon System Simulation Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The engineer or analyst in this role will work closely with a highly technical team supporting simulation tool development for naval weapon and sensor systems. Position will focus on real-time simulation of large, complex weapon systems including EO/IR Sensors, RF/Radar Sensors, EW applications, missiles & interceptors, gun weapon systems, and command and control systems. Candidate will bring expertise or ability to understand a wide variety of technical concepts. Simulations developed will often employ multi-threaded capabilities within a Linux environment. Candidates will get to work the full life cycle, including requirements definition, system architecture definition, system level design, testing, documentation, validation, and integration.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics (or similar) and 8+ years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics (or similar) and 6+ years of related experience.
Candidates must have experience with full life cycle software development to include:
Preferred candidate will have experience with EO/IR sensors, missile seekers, missile systems, and/or gun systems.
Experience in naval weapon system applications is a plus.
Also, preferred candidates will have experience with software development and maintenance experience.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
