Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Project Engineer for Complex Electronics Design & Analysis to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The engineer in this role will support our Product Engineering Department through design of highly complex electronics for various DoD, Intelligence and Commercial customers. This position will support projects involving electronics hardware, firmware, and software design for military applications. Candidate will work with the customer and engineering team to help define requirements, resulting architecture, and program plans. candidate will need the ability to work programmatic questions with the customer and resolve technical uncertainty to keep the development effort on task. successful candidate for this role will be able to understand customer intent and lead our engineering team in development of the optimal engineering solution.
As part of this position, candidate will need to bring technical expertise to bear on challenges and problems that may arise. Projects typically involve diverse technology areas including analog/digital circuits, RF, optics, software, firmware, programmable logic, embedded systems, thermal management, design for manufacturing, test, and MIL-STD environments. Project environments at times are fast paced and quickly changing due to a variety of influences. This position will help ensure the engineering team (of which they are a member) and the customer (with whom they work closely with) are on the same page and able to overcome challenges (both technical and programmatic) that may arise.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Or Computer Engineer (or closely related) from an ABET accredited university.
Candidate must have 5 years of experience demonstrating a strong technical background in one or more of the following areas: analog/digital circuits, RF, optics, software, firmware, programmable logic, embedded systems.
Must have Project Engineer experience for Complex Electronics Design & Analysis
Candidate must demonstrate an ability to work technical details with a diverse engineering staff as well as interact with stakeholders with and without technical backgrounds.
Candidate should demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment and work to find solutions to challenges involving multiple stakeholders.
Experience working project management is a plus, especially the opportunity to work a program delivering electronic prototypes for the DoD community.
Position can have the opportunity to shape and execute business development efforts – experience doing so would be a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
