Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented and motivated RF signature CAD modeler to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This is a signature CAD modeler position supporting the development and configuration of high-fidelity 3-D radiofrequency (RF) signature CAD models of foreign and U.S. military targets including missiles, ground support vehicles, UAVs, ATGMS, rockets, mortars, and debris. These models are used in RF signature modeling studies, including radar cross section (RCS) and automatic target recognition (ATR) simulations. Models are developed from a variety of source data, including hardware, line drawings, and other intelligence data. The position will include significant interaction with RF signature engineers, and successful candidates will train other CAD modelers in this discipline. The position also includes opportunities to become integrated with a broad range of mechanical, structural, and design modeling.
The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team interacting with contractors and government personnel to achieve the program objectives, but must also be comfortable working independently to analyze technical information and develop innovative solutions to problems.IND3
-This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering graphics, drafting and design, or other related discipline.
-Candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in the development of high fidelity 3-D geometric models in support of virtual target predictive RF signature characterizations.
-Good communication skills, performance in a team environment, and the capability of operating in a multi-task environment are essential.
-Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
