Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc., is seeking a talented Computational Fluid Dynamicist to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Computational Fluid Dynamicist will work in an application oriented using existing CFD tools for analysis, verification, and validation. Some CFD program model development will be required. This position is in support of the NASA/George C. Marshall Space Flight Center through the Engineering Support and Science Capabilities Augmentation (ESSCA) contract led by the Jacobs Space Exploration Group.
Project assignments could be focused in one or more of the following areas:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree an ABET-accredited university AND at least 5 years of applicable experience.
Candidate must possess a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university AND at least 3 years of applicable experience.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Masters/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with at least 2 years’ experience in using CFD program(s) for engineering applications.
Preference shown to candidates who have experience with the Loci framework, and CFD applications Loci/ Chem and/or Loci-Stream CFD programs.
Preference shown to candidates who have experience in object oriented programming.
