Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc. The Strategic Programs office is seeking a qualified Antenna Engineer for its hypersonics line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The successful candidate will serve as an Antenna Engineer that will work with antennas, RF systems, telemetry systems, flight termination systems, and GPS systems for Hypersonic Glide Bodies (HGB). Specific duties may encompass reviewing antenna drawings and work instructions relevant to HGB production, assist in procurement preparation for antenna manufactures, source selection, quality, documentation and test requirements for acceptance as well as provide supplier surveillance during manufacturing and testing. Support/oversee Voltage Standing Wave Ratio characterization and insitu antenna pattern characterization. Support cable related installation and testing during production process to include troubleshooting and repairs/rework.
Oversee inspection of antennas and cables prior to integration and write/manage non-conformance reports. Work will be conducted in an integration/production facility along with a laboratory environment.IND3
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field from an ABET accredited school is required. Candidate should have at least 10+ years of relevant experience.
The following skills/abilities are desired:
Experience with missile system RF components, antennas, and/or electronics
Organizational skills to document designs, assist with Technical Data Packages (TDP) and support production and test of HGB
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
The ideal candidate would have experience in missile electronics/avionics/environmental testing and have a current DoD Secret clearance.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
