Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Avionics System Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The canididate selected for this position will be a part of our Avionics Products Team, it will require a design engineer with demonstrated engineering skills. The individual must be a self-starter with experience working with inter-disciplinary engineering teams to solve challenging technical problems.
The position will perform systems engineering tasks in a dynamic environment to develop a variety of Avionics products. Candidate will work closely with customers and design teams to develop products following the systems engineering lifecycle. Candidate will be responsible for defining requirements, supporting the system architecture definition & design development, and the validation & integration for hardware/software products.
Candidate will collaborate across multiple disciplines to include mechanical, electrical, software, simulation, and reliability to identify applicable requirements and then ensure the requirements are met while avoiding requirements creep.IND3
Position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an ABET Accredited school in Systems engineering or related technical field (GPA > 3.25), minimum 5 years general engineering experience.
2+ year of direct systems engineering experience (internship experience will be credited).
Applicant must be proficient in MS Office tools and have demonstrated experience effectively communicating in a team environment.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Experience supporting DoD programs a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
