Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc. The Strategic Programs office is seeking a qualified Project Manager for its Hypersonics line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of hardware development/delivery project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization. General responsibilities in organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates. Participate in daily meetings with the program manager to address/solve issues as they arise. Other responsibilities include:
Lead meetings and set expectations for project team
Plan and execute a hardware centric project
Creates project plans
Maintains project objectives
Define tasks and required resources
Assist with assembling and managing project team
Manages resources to make sure schedule is on track
Allocate project resources
Create and maintain schedule
Execute project timeline
Monitor and report on project progress
Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
Evaluate and assess result of project
Manage risks and opportunities of project
Define required space and other requirements for the Assembly, Integration and Test of project hardware
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University with previous hardware project management experience is required (no less than 5 year’s relevant experience).

Experience in planning, scheduling, and administration of technical projects
Basic skills with Microsoft Office products
Work with a team of engineers and technicians in a fast paced, quality critical environment
Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
Experience in Agile teams
Proven leadership skills
Expertise in conflict resolution
Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability
Proficiency with related software tools including but not limited to ProjectManager.com, JIRA, MS Excel, etc.
Candidate must be a resident of the New Mexico area or willing to relocate to the Albuquerque, NM area.
Strong leadership skills, strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional team members, experience executing and leading test efforts, experience working in a highly deadline-driven environment, experience documenting efforts and reporting out to the team, passion for leading and motivating others and strong initiative.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
