Dynetics is currently seeking a Industrial Security Specialist in Huntsville, Alabama for a complex security program under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Candidate selected will be responsible for providing document control services for multiple locations. They will support all aspects of document control including SIMS database, processing incoming and outgoing classified material, inventory, supporting the ISSM/ISSOs, and supporting large conferences. They will provide day-to-day document control security support to multiple classified programs and interface with external/internal customers to provide required documentation and proper security classifications in compliance with established program security plans and customer directives. They will support classified Information Systems with file transfer requests, marking and controlling classified Information Systems, etc.
Candidate will also conduct closed work area security procedures (opening and closing areas, alarm response, security moves, escort duties) and properly handle classified material (receipt, transmittal, sign in/out, filing, wrapping, marking, destruction, distribution, courier, and various products and materials.). They will maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Company, and the external security professionals. Candidate will interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Other duties will be performed as necessary and some possible travel and overtime required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl.
High School Diploma and 7 or more years’ experience in Industrial and/or National Security field required.
Marking Classified Training (i.e. Derivative Classification) also required.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds as required.
Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required as well as a proven ability to work independently and with others in a collaborative environment.
Must be a self-starter. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge and experience in the facets of National Industrial Security Program including Contract Security, Physical Security, Personnel Security, Visitor Control, Information Management, and general industrial security methodologies.
Strong organization skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be skilled in focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, and clarifying next steps to meet deadlines and achieve desired results. Must have the ability to manage workload, assist in identifying security issues, and to communicate with managers and staff at all levels of the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and resident of the Huntsville, AL area or willing to relocate.
Experience with SIMS database desired. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education preferred.
Familiarity with the following: SIMS, LENEL, Access Commander, ISFD, NISS, JPAS, & DISS.
Must possess a Final Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Top Secret Security Clearance.
