Position Description

Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Junior Spectrum Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. The Dynetics San Antonio office is currently looking for a self-starting engineer/subject matter expert who can professionally represent the company onsite at the government facility.

The Dynetics' San Antonio office provides engineering analytics, modeling, simulation, and assessments that support the planning and execution of EW operations. The team must stay on the cutting edge of rapidly developed commercial and military electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) dependent systems to understand how they function and are utilized during military operations. Candidates must be able to perform assessments to identify the technical parameters and operational information required to build an estimate of the electromagnetic operational environment for planning, executing, and assessing EMS operations at the operational and tactical levels.


Basic Qualifications

-Position will require a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or similar technical discipline) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in the field of spectrum management with focus on frequency assignments, deconfliction, host nation restrictions, and interference analysis.

-Candidate must have 5 years of experience with spectrum management tools to include Spectrum 21 (SXXI,) JSDR, SCS, and Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO).

-Candidate must be a resident of the San Antonio area or willing to relocate to the San Antonio, Texas area

Other Qualifications

  • Formal training and certification in spectrum management related courses is preferred.

Security Requirements

U.S. Citizenship and a current Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Must possess active SCI clearance with current investigation (within last 4.5 years) and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
