Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Software Developer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidates in this role will be a part of a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and analysts supporting advanced radar and weapon systems technology research and development.
Candidates will be expected to design, develop, optimize, test, deploy, and maintain software as a part of small teams leveraging Agile methods in a DevOps environment.
Areas of support will include radar back-end software development, digital signal processing, distributed micro-service/open architecture development, high-fidelity modeling & simulation, and algorithm prototyping.
Some travel and field test support may be required.
-Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university with a minimum of three (3) years of software development experience.
-Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of concepts including object-oriented design, data structures, parallel algorithm development, distributed architecture development, and networking.
-Candidates must have good verbal, written, and visual communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
-Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Experience with the following is desired:
GNU/Linux or Real-Time Operating Systems
C/C++, Python, Matlab
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
