Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented EW Test Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The Engineer or Analyst in this role will support Weapon System Development and the Army PEO Missiles and Space Electronic Warfare (EW) Test Team by generating test plans, participating in test activities, and analyzing test data for EW systems against a myriad of RF sensors and datalinks.
-Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited university with a minimum of three (3) years of Radar Technology experience.
-Weapon system experience must include one or more of the following areas: sensor test planning and field test support, radar/weapons systems analysis, algorithm development, and/or modeling and simulation development.
-Test planning includes scenario development and test range and asset coordination.
-Field test support includes travel, radar and EW equipment setup and teardown, radar and EW operation, and data collection.
-Radar/weapons systems analysis experience includes probability of detection, waveform analysis, probability of intercept, defended area, etc.
-Algorithm development experience includes detection processes, waveform selection, signal processing, clutter and EA mitigation, adaptive beamforming, target identification, etc.
-Modeling experience includes modeling of radar functions, threats, timeline, weapon system, clutter, EA/EP, etc.
-Light lifting will be required (up to 30 or 40 lbs.).
-Travel will be required.
-Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
