Dynetics is seeking a qualified individual to serve as an Air Vehicle Integration and Test Engineer on various Government and Commercial ground and flight test activites, to include aircraft, stores, and payload systems/subsystems.
Individual will interface with the aircraft OEM and stores/payload teams to facilitate the integration onto the aircraft and evaluation of aircraft systems and performance. This will include planning and conducting ground testing of the subsystems/stores/payloads separate from the aircraft as well as integrated with the aircraft to substantiate the air worthiness of the integrated system. Additionally, this may include review of aircraft platform performance and safety with OEM.
The individual will conduct the flight test planning and coordination with all parties including the test range to efficiently test the system and a meet the test objectives. The individual will then be the Dynetics’ flight test lead providing onsite support during the testing and then completion of the flight test reporting.IND3
The individual must be a self-starter with a high level of initiative and funtion autonomously in a field environment with minimal direct supervision. The individual must be self-motivated to do excellent work that exceeds customer expectations.
Minimum of at least 3+ years of relevant experience in Aircraft or Air Vehicle system and subsystem integration, test planning, coordination, execution, and troubleshooting.
Subsystem testing and troubleshooting requires an understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software testing.
The Candidate must be willing to travel (approximately 20%) to remote locations across the U.S.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively work in a multi-disiplinary team environment are required.
Candidate must present a professional demeanor at all times while representing Dynetics to customers and stakeholders.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
