In anticipation of NASA awarding the Human Landing System (HLS) contract in the near future, Dynetics Space Systems Division is seeking qualified engineers and analysts to support NASA programs including HLS that will put the first woman and next man on the Moon. We are seeking project engineers, systems engineers, test engineers, electrical/mechanical engineers, stress/structural engineers, and analysts to join a diverse team in support of the development of a Human Lander System that will take us back to the surface of the Moon by 2024.

The Loads & Dynamics Analyst will support the Dynetics Space Division by developing integrated loads and dynamic environments across multiple elements of a human lander system through the full product development lifecycle. This position requires experience with analysis and test methods for static and transient loads, shock, and sine and random vibration. In addition, the position requires experience with interpreting test data, correlation of analytical models, and advanced technical planning. The candidate will be a part of a multi-disciplined, multi-organizational Integrated Product Team (IPT). Frequent customer interaction and cross-discipline communication is required.IND2
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university
Candidate must have directly applicable experience developing integrated loads and performing dynamic analysis.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the use of Femap, NASTRAN, and/or VA-One for dynamic analysis.
Candidate must be able to write technical reports and to present results to a multi-disciplined team.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
