Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Test Coordinator to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This position will assist engineers and technical staff in development and execution of test plans and procedures for a variety of types of tests, including but not limited to network testing, system-level testing, software testing, and field and flight test events. The candidate will have experience with workflow software such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Kanban based utilities. The candidate will support a team of engineers and technicians, and will assist with as much of the test organization, preparation, and execution as possible. The candidate will be capable of taking system or software requirements and deriving test procedures to validate said requirements.
Systems under test will vary widely in terms of complexity. The candidate will be expected to simultaneously perform multiple test preparation, execution, and reporting tasks in support of a multi-disciplined team of system and software engineers. Candidate will be responsible for creating automated tests where applicable. Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Candidate must be willing to learn and leverage customer and DoD standards for documentation and test. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, and Visio. Candidate must have automated test creation experience.
Experience with formal software or systems test is a plus Experience with software test tools such as SpiraTest, is a plus Experience working in a Department of Defense environment is a plus Experience with technical writing and document generation are a plus Experience organizing test events is a plus
A degree in Math, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is a plus.
Strong general computer skills are a plus.
Experience with linux and CLI is a plus.
Experience with configuration mangement tools is a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
