Dynetics is currently looking for a candidate who can professionally represent the company in a government laboratory on Redstone Arsenal that will be responsible for implementing and evaluating human factors usability studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, implementation, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operation of fixed and mobile lab assets that will be utilized to capture and quantify data used to assess the usability of a variety of products and systems. The Systems Administrator will ensure that the lab facilities, hardware, and software are up to date and operating properly, and will coordinate with contractor and government personnel and Army Mission Support as needed to address potential issues and resolve problems.IND3
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline with at least 2 years of applicable experience OR have at least 8 years of applicable experience in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree.
The successful candidate should have an extensive background in computer networking, IT systems configuration, network management, virtualization, router configuration, and network security.
Network troubleshooting skills and familiarity with security compliance regulations are also required.
The ability to work independently and self-direct time and effort is essential, and excellent documentation and organizational skills are required.
Extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows systems is required, and the ability to understand, administer, and maintain the network’s cybersecurity posture is critical.
This position may require up to 25% travel to locations across the United States.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville / North Alabama area.
Security+ and Linux+ certifications are highly desired.
Previous experience in code development is a plus.
Some logistics experience arranging transport and detailing standard operating procedures
is a plus.
Interest in or previous experience in the design and conduct of human factors or usability
studies is a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
