Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a talented Composite Manufacturing Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Composite Manufacturing Engineer will be required to provide floor support for composite layup, integration, and assembly efforts and will be required to work closely with design team, quality control, and manufacturing personnel. Occasionally this candidate will be required to support proposals and quoting efforts. Must be able to lead small teams to accomplish a task or goal. Candidates must be capable of reading and interpreting mechanical/integration drawings and understand the working nature of MRP/ERP systems. Applicant must be able to create a bill of materials based on drawings and specs as well as create and maintain standardized work instructions based on drawing and specification reviews.IND1
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Candidate must have at least five (5) years of manufacturing engineering experience.
In lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a manufacturing engineer role is required.
Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
