Dynetics has been selected by NASA to participate in the development and demonstration of a Human Landing System (HLS). Dynetics is seeking project engineers, systems engineers, mechanical design engineers, electrical engineers, structural and thermal analysts, manufacturing engineers, test engineers, technicians, and operators to join a diverse team in support of the development of the HLS that will carry the first woman and next man to the Moon by 2024.
Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Requisitioner to join our diverse, highly skilled team to develop the HLS. The Requisitioner’s primary responsibility will be a progam-level requisitioner, in charge of origination, accuracy, and prompt execution of all purchase requests for materials, parts, and supplies. Additional duties will include soliciting quotes, monitoring long-lead deliveries, tracking orders, maintaining records, and managing inventories to meet schedules for manufacturing and production activities. The individual will collect, maintain, and supply Government-required purchasing backup information. Additional duties include gathering historical data and other backup materials to support proposal estimates and justification per Government requirements. Finally, the individual may also assist in other tasks such as planning and supporting meetings, compiling reports, data entry, and other duties as assigned.
The position will require frequent coordination with the program management, engineers, buyers, inventory managers, subcontractor personnel, and vendors to ensure that materials, parts, and supplies are available when needed and that proper documentation is in place for orders and proposals.IND2
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Candidates must have at least three (3) years of experience with requisitioning materials, parts, and supplies for complex technical development programs.
Candidates must be able to generate concise and comprehensive technical requisitions and complete on-line and hardcopy order forms.
Candidates must have demonstrated ability to deliver results in a team environment and independently.
Demonstrated ability to organize, track deadlines, and monitor and follow up on required actions to successful completion are mandatory.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference will be shown to candidates who possess a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Management or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
