DTS, is seeking a talented Manufacturing Material Planner to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Manufacturing Material Planner must be capable of using and understand the working nature of MRP/ERP systems. Applicant must be able to create a bill of materials based on drawings and specs for individual parts, sub-assemblies and finished products. Must be able to modify/update existing BOMS to meet new engineering requirements. This position will be required to provide MBOM audit support and will be required to work closely with design team and manufacturing team.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
Candidate must have at least 5 years of expereince managing large bill of materials in Costpoint or other fully integrated MRP/ERP system.
Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference shown to candidates with at least 5 years of experience in Costpoint.
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Preference shown to candidates who have experience supporting proposals and quoting efforts.
Preference shown to candidates who already possess a Final Secret Clearance.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
