Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking an Entry Level Space Systems Engineer to join a diverse, highly-skilled team in aerospace systems design and simulation. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.
The Entry Level Space Systems Engineer will aid in the development and integration of Commercial, Civil, and Military aerospace systems, to include satellites, constellations, launch vehicles, crewed space vehicles, aircraft, and missile systems. Primary responsibilities include development and evaluation of system and subsystem level requirements, development and documentation of test plans and procedures, supplier interface and management, and coordination among a multi-disciplinary team.IND3
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.3 or higher GPA.
Candidates must have a minimum of 0-5 years of related experience in systems engineering or systems analysis.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment and have experience mentoring & guiding team members.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
