Dynetics' team in Colorado Springs is currently looking to add a talented engineer interested in supporting Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) radar modeling and simulation (M&S) activities. The Simulation Developer will support the team in developing, maintaining, and refining radar models using deployed simulation software at the customer facility in Colorado Springs. Candidate will work closely with the development team to identify and repair simulation issues as they arise. Candidate should have an advanced understanding of development practices, be willing to support the less experienced team members and possess exceptional attention to detail.IND3
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Software), Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics or similar program of study is required.
10+ years relevant experience to include object-oriented software development in C++ or similar language.
Knowledge of object-oriented design, system/software development life cycles, and agile software development practices.
Familiarity with Windows, UNIX, and/or Linux operating systems.
Radar and/or Missile Defense experience.
Ability to communicate effectively, work in a team-oriented collaborative development environment, and exhibit professionalism in on-site multi-contractor customer environment.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
