With the NASA award of the Human Landing System (HLS) contract, Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking qualified applicants to support the NASA history-making HLS program that will put the first woman and next man on the Moon by 2024.
Dynetics is looking for a talented software process specialist to join our team to ensure our software is of the highest quality and conforms to NASA human-spaceflight-rated requirements. This position will support software development ensuring it conforms to our CMMI Maturity Level (ML) 3 processes at all stages. The primary responsibility is to gather and evaluate artifacts that indicate the processes are being followed and that necessary documentation is being generated utilizing our formal, disciplined methodology. This position will require daily interaction with software engineering, development, and test teams with Dynetics and their software subcontractors.IND2
Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Candidate must be very knowledgeable of the CMMI for Development V1.3 (or later) model and the content expectations for products developed under ML3-rated processes. The candidate must be able to quickly learn and understand the Dynetics processes, the associated dependencies, and artifacts. Candidate must be very organized and be proficient in the use of one or more software configuration management (SCM) tools, as well as one or more tools that are commonly used for software engineering, development, and/or test. Candidate must be familiar with Scrum or other Agile-like development methods.
A BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar is preferred. Experience in generating CMMI ML3 process documentation and/or experience in conducting or participating in a CMMI ML3 appraisal is a plus. Experience on NASA human-spaceflight programs using NASA procedural requirements, standards, handbooks, etc. is a strong plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
