The Strategic Programs office of Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc., is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer for its hypersonics line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The successful candidate will perform tasks related to development of the overall system including software and hardware development, test, and integration for the technical aspects of Hypersonic Glide Body (HGB). The Systems Engineer will perform duties in all Systems Engineering disciplines to include system design, requirements definition, allocation, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, systems analysis, and test.
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent field from an ABET accredited school is required. Candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
The following skills/abilities are desired:
Experience with system level requirements
Experience with subsystem/system integration and test
Experience with software requirements and test procedures/analysis/verification methods
Derive requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems
DOORS and/or other requirements database tools
MagicDraw and/or other Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) modeling tools
Have organizational skills to document work and interface with team members to ensure flow of information
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
The ideal candidate would have experience in electronics/avionics/environmental system requirements development and testing and have a current DoD Secret clearance.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
