Dynetics, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This position will involve circuit board and system design primarily for military applications. Work duties include component selection, schematic design and capture, board level testing and debugging, and system level considerations. Systems under design include analog, mixed-signal, and RF applications. This position will provide the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects in a fast-paced environment. The position will include significant interaction with other design engineers, project managers, technicians, and circuit board layout personnel.
-Candidate must possess a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.3 or higher GPA.
-Candidate must possess a strong competency in designing printed circuit boards using both analog and digital circuit components.
-Candiate must be campable with hardware and software aspects of embedded development. Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
-Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
-Candidates must be a resident of the Huntsville, Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville AL area.
Familiarity or experience with any of the following would be a plus:
-Mentor Graphics DxDesigner CAD software
-VHDL and embedded software
-Cascaded gain and noise figure system modeling
-Analog, Mixed signal and RF PCB design
-Experience working with lab equipment
-Interfacing to high speed D/A and A/D converters
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
