Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a Section Manager for the Mission Assurance Branch of the Enterprise IT and Cybersecurity Department to join a diverse team of professionals working to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The candidate will join a diverse team primarily focused on providing AMD Security Operations support for a wide variety of systems and applications. Candidate will be required to support multiple tasks in parallel, productively contribute in and lead team environments, and communicate effectively to management, employees, coworkers, and customers.
The candidate must accept the responsibility that comes with being a manager within the Enterprise IT and Cybersecurity Department, adopting principles of servant-based leadership and effective communication that demand accountability.
This includes mentoring others, setting the tone for the section, leading by example, coordinating personnel staffing commitments and needs, planning for professional growth for self and personnel, keeping management informed of critical issues, and playing a key role in proposal and business development opportunities as required.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Candidates must also comply with the experience, training, and certification requirements IAW DoD 8570.01 IAT level II or IAM level III.
Candidate must have at least 5+ years' total experience.
Strong knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, NIST security controls, and basic Project Management is preferred.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment supporting a diverse customer base comprised of program managers, engineers, analysts, specialists, and technicians.
In addition to the qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate should be highly organized, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks as required, and should have experience mentoring and teaching Cybersecurity/IT methods and best practices to peers
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
