Dynetics, a Leidos company, is seeking a talented Division Program Finance Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Division Program Finance Manager serves as the primary Financial Leader rolling up to an Operation within the Dynetics Group. The position will be a direct line leader for both the program financial control staff and will be responsible for the organization's talent development, performance management, and business strategy. As the principal advisor to the Division Manager, the position will work closely with Contracts, Pricing, and the program teams to ensure Division growth and execution of the Business Plan. Further, this position will have responsibility to lead program finance teams that must proactively manage key Government Customer relationships, ensuring that the interests of Dynetics are understood and achieved. In addition, the Divisions Program Finance Manager has overall responsibility for timely and accurately planning, forecasting and analysis of the Division’s performance and ensuring controls exist to support company policy and procedures within the Division.

The candidate should be proficient at setting up, monitoring, and controlling programs using Earned Value Management (EVM), and should have a strong working knowledge of Deltek Cobra.

This position will provide leadership in project control (including cost/schedule management), budget development and analysis for the contracts awarded; direct the establishment and maintenance of a system of business management controls to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, schedules, and financial goals; and interface with senior leadership on programmatic and business related activities providing suggestions and solutions.

  • Responsible for developing timely, accurate and executable financial forecasts for the Division including Revenue, and Operating Income.
  • Responsible for leading and mentoring Division Program Finance, Program Control, and will have close coordination with other functional and non-functional management
  • Establish and Maintain effective relationships, both internally and externally
  • Responsible for Program level EACs and performance
  • Primary interface with Shared Services for the Division
  • Address data calls from across the Enterprise
  • Lead cost/pricing strategy for proposal activities within the Division
  • Actively participate in high quality cost volumes being prepared/submitted
  • Ensure consistent policy interpretation and execution

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred, but relevant experience in Government Contracting will be considered.
  • Candidate should have at least 8 years of experience, preferably in FP&A, Accounting, or Government Compliance.
  • Candidates with foundational knowledge of GAAP, CAS, and FAR are preferred.
  • Candidates must be experienced at monitoring and controlling projects using Earned Value Management (EVM) utilizing Deltek Cobra. Candidate will be expected to learn how to maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project.
  • Candidate must be proficient in Excel and be able to utilize pivot tables, functions (logical, data, and text), data sorting and validation, conditional formatting, perform statistical analysis, develop dashboard and data visualization, and macros.
  • Candidate must be a US citizen, and must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.

Security Requirements

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
