Position Description

Observation Without Limits (OWL), a Dynetics subsidiary, is seeking a talented Radar Development Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Is expanding its critical infrastructure security technology business in the U.S. to better serve the utility, airport, rail, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other commercial and public sectors with our family of GroundAware® radar-based surveillance sensor systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

This engineer is a Radar subject matter expert to aid in development, testing, qualification, and deployment of commercial radar systems. The engineer will be able to work closely with the engineering team to meet demanding customer requirements and deadlines.


Basic Qualifications

Applicant must have a bachelor's from an accredited college or University in a technical field and preferably an advanced degree in a field relevant to radar design and development such as Electrical Engineering.

Applicant must have a firm conceptual grasp of radar-relevant fields such as antennas, signal processing algorithms, and radar tracking algorithms. 

Candidate must have at minimum of five plus (5+) years of experience working with radar technology. 

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Experience briefing radar material to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

Able to work well in a 5-10 member engineering team environment. 

Able to interact with sales and technician staff as needed. 

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
