Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented LabVIEW Developer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The LabVIEW Developer for Weapon Systems will be responsible for developing quick-turn laboratory test setups and long-term fieldable test equipment for foreign weapon systems. This candidate will support multiple programs by collaborating in a team environment to develop test solutions. The candidate will Defining and documenting test requirements, Estimating test setup development costs, designing test hardware solutions using off-the-shelf National Instruments equipment, off-the-shelf equipment from other vendors, and equipment custom designed by Dynetics. The candidate will develop LabVIEW and other GUI based applications for control and monitoring of test processes.
-Candidate must possess a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.3 or higher GPA.
-Candidate must possess a strong competency in designing test setups or equipment using the LabVIEW programming environment.
-Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
-Candidates must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
Preference shown to candidates who have current National Instruments LabVIEW certifications (CLAD, CLD, CLA, or CLED).
Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of: testing and debugging of complex systems using standard analog and digital test equipment, other programming languages including C++, C#, Java, and Python, and video capture and overlay equipment.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
