Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Satellite Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The engineer in this role will aid in the development and integration of small satellites and satellite payloads. Primary responsibilities will include development and evaluation of an MBSE model,  system level requirements, documentation of test plans and procedures, safety analysis, interface analysis, and integration activities. 

 

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and at least 3 years of related experience in systems engineering or systems analysis. Experience (industry or academic) with Model-Based Systems Engineering required. 

 

Other Qualifications

Preferred candidate will have experience working with NASA, DoD, or commercial space industry in requirements development, test plans and procedures documentation, safety analysis, or test support on satellite systems and payloads. Experience with CAMEO and CAMEO-EA desired. 

 

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance.
