Dynetics, a Leidos company, is seeking a talented x86 Assembly Code Hacker to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The x86 Assembly Code Hacker will use commercial and custom methods to retrieve software from threat weapons of interest, disassemble machine code, decompile C programs, and reverse-engineer assembly code on a line-by-line basis. This work includes developing custom hardware techniques, as well as custom software to aid and automate the reverse-engineering of various types of software binaries. This position will also have responsibility for analysis of tracking, guidance, and counter-countermeasure algorithms contained within missile and radar systems. The goal of this analysis will be to describe the threat capabilities and vulnerabilities against the U.S. systems that oppose it. Test benches will be developed to verify analysis and further characterize the signal processing chain. Weapon system instrumentation and testing will be supported for data collection purposes. Once analysis is complete, efforts will continue towards developing countermeasures for the threat system in order to ensure its defeat in combat.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or higher Science or Engineering Degree from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.3 or higher GPA.
