Position Description

Spire Manufacturing Solutions a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking talented Quality Technicians to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields. Spire Manufacturing provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Quality Technician must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to inspect unique precision parts. Ideal candidate should also have experience in programming CMMs, calibrating parts, and operation of a variety of inspection tools including digital height gauges, micrometers, calipers, inside micrometers, etc. Experience in the inspection of large aerospace components and intricate parts is a plus. Ability to use GOM ATOS 5 scanner and software a plus. Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

Candidates must have at least one (1) year of experience inspecting precision machined parts

Candidates must have at least one (1) year of manufacturing and quality systems experience

Candidates must understand and be able to evaluate prints and GD&T requirements

Candidate must be able to work 1st shift with work hours from 7:00 am - 4:30pm

Candidate must be a resident of CoS, CO area or willing to relocate to CoS, Colorado, CO area.


In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly range for this role is $20/hr to $35/hr; however, Dynetics considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills

Other Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:

  • ATOS GOM scanning
