Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Mid-level to Senior-level Software Engineer to help create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.
Dynetics Sensor Systems Analysis and Engineering (SSAE) Department is seeking a software engineer with 5 or more years of experience and requisite skills to support software development related to FPGA assurance. The candidate will be a motivated self-starter who supports the United States Army in a multi-contractor team environment.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or have an equivalent engineering or scientific degree with demonstrated software development experience.
Must have 5+ years technical experience.
Must be proficient in C++ and scripting languages such as Python.
Must be able to design and refactor code that is readable, maintainable, testable, scalable, efficient, and documented.
Must be able to sit full time at a customer site and operate independently in a multi-contractor environment.
Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
In addition to the qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate should be highly organized and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will possess FPGA design and HDL design experience. Reverse engineering and project management experience is also desired.
Preference will be shown to qualified candidates who currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
