Position Description

Spire Manufacturing is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking talented CNC Machinist to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Spire Manufacturing provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The CNC Machinist must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce unique precision parts. Ideal candidate should have experience in setup and operation of a variety of machine tools including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. Experience in the manufacturing of large aerospace components from exotic materials, is a plus. 5-axis and/or mill-turn experience is a plus. Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Candidates must have at least two (2) years of precision machining experience on CNC Mills & CNC Lathes.
• Candidate must be able to work 1st 4:00 – 2:30 pm OR 2nd shift with work hours from 2:00 pm- 12:00 am.
• Candidate must be able to work a 4-days per week, 10-hours per shift work schedule (4/10 Plan).
• Candidate must be a resident of CoS, CO area or willing to relocate to CoS, Colorado, CO area.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly range for this role is $23/hr to $35/hr; however, Dynetics considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
