Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Hypersonic Weapon Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

We are looking for a engineer to help build the technical data package for a hypersonic glide body. This position will lead a team of designers in creating, revising, and managing configuration of engineering drawings using Creo. Position will be responsible for communicating with customer and other government organizations involved in the glide body design and incorporating those communications into technical drawings. This program is fast-paced...just like hypersonic weapons.

Basic Qualifications

These qualifications are a must:

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Minimum of 3 years experience post-graduation working in the engineering field.
• Proficiency in Creo
• Proficiency producing drawings to ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5

Other Qualifications

Experience in these areas would be nice, but they aren't a deal-breaker:

• Leadership
• Windchill PDM software
• Cable routing
• Aerospace fasteners
• Mechanical mechanisms design

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
