Position Description

Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc., is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Ideal candidate must be capable of reading and interpreting mechanical/integration drawings and understand the working nature of MRP/ERP systems. Applicant must be able to create a bill of materials based on drawings and specs as well as create and maintain standardized work instructions based on drawing and specification reviews. This position will be required gather manufacturing and lessons learned data from a remote manufacturing site and help coordinate the incorporation of this data into Huntsville’s manufacturing plan and work instructions.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate will have a BS degree in engineering from an accredited university and have at least 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• A high school diploma and 10 years of applicable experience in lieu of BS degree will be acceptable.
• Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Candidate must be able to travel to support remote operations. Estimated amount of travel is four weeks a year.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:

• Solumina MES experience
• CostPoint MRP experience
• Military and Aerospace assembly techniques
• Crane operation experience

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
