Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking an Entry-Level Radar Simulation Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Candidates in this role will be a part of a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and analysts supporting advanced radar and weapon systems technology research and development.

Candidates will be expected to utilize modeling and simulation of air and missile defense systems to setup, test, analyze, and evaluate radar and weapon system performance.

Basic Qualifications

CAndidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Must have excellent math skills, problem solving skills, and analytical thinking skills.

Must show good fundamentals in electromagnetics, signals and systems, digital signal processing, and controls.

Must be able to apply these skills in the following areas: modeling, radar systems analysis, radar and/or field testing.

Must have good people skills and the desire to work with a highly technical team of engineers and scientists.

Must have good verbal, written, and visual communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

Other Qualifications

Desired experience:

• GNU/Linux or Real-Time Operating Systems
• C/C++, Python, and/or Matlab

Experience with any of the following domains is a plus:

• Radar Systems and Subsystems
• Air and Missile Defense Systems
• Modeling & Simulation
• Open Architecture Development

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
