Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Senior Contracts Team Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.
The Senior Contracts Team Manager’s responsibilities will include the daily leadership of a team of Contract Managers executing a wide variety of contract actions, mentorship of Contract Managers, and management of his or her own portfolio of contract requirements.
Candidate must have in depth knowledge of all contract types (e.g., T&M, FFP, and Cost Plus). Experience with Teaming Agreement, Non-Disclosures and other legal instruments a must.
Additionally, candidate will have a strong background in Federal Acquisition Regulations and provide guidance to staff and resolve contractual related conflicts and support contract negotiations.
Please note: Work location for this position will be in Huntsville, AL with telework opportunity possible.
-BS Degree in Business or related field from an accredited university is required with 10+ years’ experience in contract administration, or a Master’s Degree in Business or related field from an accredited university with 7+ years’ experience; 3+ years’ experience must have been in a leadership role
- Expert knowledge within government contracts and subcontracts arenas with particular emphasis on proposal support.
- Familiarity with US Government Research and Development (R&D) contracting, from fundamental research and early TRL stages through transition to production. Experience in developing creative business models.
- Excellent negotiation skills, including experience negotiating complex terms and conditions.
- Must have experience with all contract types (fixed price, including fixed price development, and cost plus contracts) and a working knowledge of FAR/DFAR.
- Experience with commercial contracts, including sales of commercial hardware and software products, with particular emphasis on Intellectual Property terms.
- Experience with non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Regularly interact with programs, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers as required.
-Strong interpersonal skills with measured and articulate communication skills; build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers; proven history of building a team environment, fostering communication, listening to staff concerns, and reconciling internal issues or differences
-Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama area.
Current SECRET or Top Secret clearance is preferred.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
