Position Description

Spire Manufacturing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking talented Production Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Production Technician must be capable of reading engineering drawings, CAD models and following work instructions to produce complex assemblies. Ideal candidate should have experience in setup and operation of a variety of machine tools including Water Jet, Industrial sewing machines and Wire EDM’s. Experience in the manufacturing of large aerospace components from exotic materials, is a plus. The Production Technician must also perform other tasks to aid in the increased efficiency of manufacturing. Attention to detail is key to the success of assembling / Manufacturing good-quality product. Experience in the manufacturing of large components for aerospace application is a plus. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methods is a plus. The candidate must be adaptive and willing to change tasks based on production needs.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent with (3) years of manufacturing experience
• OR Associate degree with (2) years of manufacturing experience
• OR Bachelor degree with (1) year of manufacturing experience
• 2+ years of experience programming and operating water jets / Wire EDM a plus
• 2+ years of experience operating industrial sewing machine’s a plus
• Candidate must be able to read and evaluate engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
• Must maintain documentation for operations including checklists, inspection forms, and travelers
• Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Candidate must be able to work 1st 6:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday
• Candidate must be a resident of CoS, CO area or willing to relocate to CoS, Colorado, CO area.
• Candidate must be able to work a 4-days per week, 10-hours per shift work schedule (4/10 Plan).
• Candidate must be a resident of CoS, CO area or willing to relocate to CoS, Colorado, CO area.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly range for this role is $20/hr to $30/hr; however, Dynetics considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
